Resolving Your Case in Mediation

Mediation is a process aimed at facilitating agreements between the parties to avoid the uncertainty of trial. Mediation is a confidential process, and the mediator does not provide legal advice or represent either party.  The mediator does not decide your case, and you are not forced into any agreements. The purpose of mediation is to open the channels of communication to reach common ground.  Many courts require mediation prior to trial, and it is a great way to resolve your case in private, without the emotional financial stress of court proceedings.

In addition to litigating, the attorneys at Mackoy, Hernandez, Jones, & Woods, LLP are also qualified to serve as mediators in cases in which they are not serving as an attorney for a party.  Our goal is to help parties resolve their disputes and move forward without the stress and uncertainty of trial.
